We are proud to be developing resilience.io with the RESIST (Resilient Economy and Society by Integrated SysTems modelling) project, funded by Newton Fund (via NERC/ESRC) and NSFC on their IRNHiC call, Increasing Resilience to Natural Hazards In Earthquake-prone regions in Dechang county, China
We will work with scientists from the University of Bristol and The Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The study area has suffered from severe earthquakes as well as frequent debris flows, landslides and floods. The project aims to develop a whole systems resilience modelling platform for sustainable economic development and social welfare. for sustainable long term economic development to increase resilience to natural hazards.
